My friends would often say that I look intimidating that's why guys don't approach me easily. But its just the looks, particularly my eyes actually that projects being a snob. They often say I'm ok once they get to know me.

I find a woman intimidating if she:
-is a lot taller than me
-is extremely attractive
-has a scowl on her face
-gives icy stares

A lot of men will be intimidated by a woman if they sense that she is out of their league, and that if they talked to her, that they would be rejected. This fear of rejection can come from several places, a few of which are:
1. She is (in his eyes) extremely beautiful
2. She is extremely confident/strong
3. He thinks she might be gay
4. She seems very popular/outgoing
A good way to make yourself more approachable is to smile, make eye contact, and start the conversations yourself.
When my boyfriend and I met (he recently told me) - he had this same issue with me. Luckily, I made the first move, and the rest is history.

Ive been told this many times. Apparently its how you carry yourself. Guys can be intimidated by a girl who can carry herself well. Its not your looks so much bc I've also been told I have expressive eyes. If you want guys to approach you just make sure you're having a good time, they'll see that and want to be having a good time with you then.

Guys find women intimidating when:
a) They know the woman can take them
b) When the girl is extraordinarily beautiful
c) Has a penis
Assuming that you are penis free, maybe you just come across a little stand offish.Be more open, smile more.

Smile at guys you're interested in, if they have courage and time and find you amiable as well, they will approach you...Only a woman who has proved that she's physically stronger than me can intimidate me!

Be sure to smile and look them in the eye. That will make you more approachable. Making the first move and introducing yourself will help as well.
