I just started my new job as an "entertainer". My legs are bruised and aching, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any at home remedies or "quick fixes" to either of these problems. I know that in time, my legs will grow stronger and ache less, but I have to go back to work the next couple of days and my body doesn't feel ready! Thanks!

you can try what are called confort measures. first try an over the counter pain reliever, the best for you being ibuprofen (advil). this takes away pain and inflammation. next, it depends on u, either a heating pad or ice bags on the areas. a hot bath is relaxing. also something like bengay, muscle rub creams that contain menthol can have a soothing feeling. and yes, when u get used to it all youll be fine.goodljuck;)michele

A quick fix? I use Aspercreme in a pinch, to get over the rough parts of physical therapy and light weight lifting. Just make sure you're not allergic to main ingredient.
