I asked this question last night but I didn't recieve many responses, so I thought I'd try again.

Of the relationships involving people that you know well (friends, family, coworkers, whatever): who has cheated more (and more often), the men or the women?

I want to see statistics from relationships involving people that YOU PERSONALLY know, not just something you read about in a magazine or heard about on a talk show.

An example of the response format I'm looking for: I personally know 3 men (a total of 4 times) and 2 women (a total of 6 times) that have cheated on their partners.

Extra thumbs up for including a description of why you think this is so, or if you noticed a discernible trend.

Gossip and hearsay shall be frowned upon.

I understand that cheating is cheating and that every person is different. Perhaps men do cheat more. Perhaps women do cheat more. I'm just sick of people saying so without the evidence to back it up.

Final score:

Men: 19 (total of 36 times)
Women: 13 (total of 14 times)

It appears that men not only cheat more, but cheat more often, at least according to the limited sample size. This suggests a few possibilities:

1.) Men are much better at getting away with cheating, or women let it happen by taking them back so often.

2.) Women are so much better at getting away with cheating that they never got caught, or men end the relationship right away and don't put up with it.

I know more gusy that have than girls. I personally cheated on 2 boyfriends when I was younger. I have 2 gf's that come to mind that have cheated on their bf's. I have at least a dozen guy friends that I can think of that have cheated on their gf's.

But I don't think statistics are going to help. I think it really depends on the person and their situation. Girls are more sneaky so I think girls can tend to get away with it without anyone knowing better than guys can. I mean we live in a society of excess, everyone wants to have everything and sex makes the world go round. I still think there are some good guys and girls out there though that don't.

Q: What became your relationship like once you cheated? A: It became incredibly stable, a sprint habitual, yet stable. Q: would she oftentimes reject your advances? A: No. Q: At what component did you purely provide up and supply up attempting? A: NA. there have been no specific sexual problems in our marriage. Q: Did you exhibit a dissatisfaction is the frequency you 2 would work together in intercourse? A: No, because of the fact i became not disillusioned with the frequency. Q: have been their sexual issues you needed (positions, forms of intercourse eg: oral and so on) that she did not prefer to house? A: the only issues I prefer that i don't get is intercourse with dissimilar companions (which includes threesomes), which I have not any suited to ask for nor anticipate from my spouse. it would be unreasonable to think of her not relaxing such outrageous needs ought to, in any way, justify cheating. Q: if your needs not being met became the foremost motivation for cheating, how long did you pass without till you cheated? A: NA. My sexual needs have been being met. Edit: that's thrilling that the two women individuals who spoke back above me apparently experienced very almost an identical element my detrimental spouse did.

Women cheat more... I have been cheated on 7 times... because I am not controlling and keep my women on a leash.. ya know I thought they would like the freedom and appreciate it.. not abuse it and take advantage of my trust.. but women are manipulative and as a whole should be leary of trust... I do not care if they go out with the girls on the weekend, or have guy friends or even still hang out with their ex's.. I am trust worthy and I expect the same from them.. obviously they like to abuse the situation....

also 2 of my best friends finance's have cheated on them (obviously not together anymore) do to 1) being to involved in his work (does customization/performance cars) 2) that he trusted her enough to go to california with her friends and she whored it up...

the moral of the story is trust your woman, but don't take an eye off her if you know what I mean

also do not fall for her unless you are sure she feels the same way

men and women cheat equally as it takes two. on some level even if one is not with anyone they are aware the other person is and does it anyway. therefore I say its equal!
