You sound like me. I just wanna have fun. The work thing makes it tricky, do a little research listen to things that are being said about him and when the time is right strike your prey. I think that he will understand that you don't want any strings involved that is a mans dream come true. Go for it I do and just like a guy sometimes I hit sometimes I miss but when I hit it is well worth it. (Well most of the time, if you get my drift.)

If u to make it easy for him just tell him straight up he will love it but will have u in his **** list.
Do this... Start to flirt heavy with him then start to touch him. carres at first touch his hand. then just increase the frecuancy and places. play with his hair. pinch his *ss. grab his leg inner thigh.
At that point if hes a guy and interested he will make the move making u not seem sluty. If he still not doing anything grap his d*ck by accident at first then do it again turn it into a game for u two. let him touch you.

I appreciate that you want to employ some subtlety to your endeavor, but there really is no way to proposition something like this using subtlety.
I know that if it were me, I need to know quite clearly what it is you want. Speaking strictly for myself, I've just heard too many accounts where guys ended up with criminal charges against them for doing the 'pants dance' with a more than willing female. "I never said yes" = rape to some.
I would need you to tell me so that there would be NO questions about what it is you want.

Be direct, tell him exactly what you want. I promise, you will NOT get rejected. Be careful though, I know women have a problem with thinking they can handle casual sex, but afterwards end up feeling used and regret it. If you really can handle it, then go for it! Just be safe.

First you might want to be friends with him. Friends having non committal sex is not uncommon. I think bringing it up out of the blue might be difficult. Talking and then getting comfortable enough to bring it up would be my approach. good luck and don't give up you can have your fun without the drama of a relationship (til you want one)

a lot of tiems its really hard to have sex no strings attached though. try bringing it up casually in a convorsation. ask him out to the bar and then ask him to come over afterwards and stuff like that
