What do younger guys see in an older woman?

Please please explain this to me! I'm in my mid forties, single and am often told I look well for my age, I'm friendly slim and healthy. Sometimes people even say that I look in my early thirties. At the moment, I'm being asked out by guys in their mid twenties and I'm so complimented! Most of these guys are good good looking and sweet as well. What do they see in a woman so much older when there are so many lovely young girls around who are much more attractive than I am and fertile as well!? Men, please please help me to understand this!

I think what you are going through is perfectly normal. Older women like to be around younger guys because they are more care free I think. Just as older men like to be with younger women because those aren't the ones wanting families right away usually. Everyone wants a boyfriend/girlfriend that they can have fun with. As well as the younger partner makes you feel younger. I have heard many times as well that men reach sexual peak in their late teens while women don't reach it till they are in their mid thirties. This also makes for larger distances in age in many relationships. All I can say from personal experience really is that the older you get, the less age matters. When you are in your 20's, 5 years is a big difference where as when you are in your 50's, 10 years isn't much of a difference anymore. Well being a man who has dated a few older women I can say that its all about maturity. Many young men are first attracted to older women through some sort of physical attraction. Then it occurs to them that older women do not have as much drama as younger women. Older women have no problem stating what they want and also have no problem helping a man better himself where as younger women expect the man to be this or be that and when they are not they move on to the next guy. Stability is a concern as well. Older women tend to bring a greater sense of stability than younger women. They either trying to get a job or going to school and worse having babies early which still doesnt stop them from the dramatics. If you ask me what I'd pick between:

Older, Stable, Experienced or Young, Dramatic, Aloof (for lack of a better word)


I'd pic the older...It's like that saying all men look to marry their mother.

I had an experience with a older woman when I was 18 she was 42. And for me it was not the motherly thing it was definitely lust and the fact that she knew what she wanted and was happy for me to do my own thing and see her at weekends have a marathon session rolling around and say goodbye brilliant it did one thing and that is made me understand women better fact.

Perhaps you have an "attractive aura" about you, or magnetic charm that men find irresistably attractive. From my own experience, I've dated women who were older than me because they were more fun to be around, and knew how to live. Sometimes younger women are too naive and scared of the "adventerous" types of men.

Experience I guess! Most of us think that the mature lady knows what she wants and knows just how to get it! Plus you don't play stupid little games with us, What I personally like about a good looking lady with a little age about her is, If you've looked after yourself up to now (i.e body appearance etc.) the chances are you are not just gonna let yourself go overnight! Maturity and Stability. I'm in my early twenties and love women who already have there lives together. A lot of young ladies that I meet are confused about their future and are just looking for a guy to marry and live off of. A mature WOMAN with her own house, job, and car is very attractive to me.

Luna..men want comfort. I prefer older women because they are mature and secure with themselves. They are not indecisive like younger women. Older women do not have any drama or baggage and if they do they have it in-tact, where as younger women are just all over the place and do know what they want. For me its security with a borderline Oedipus complex

Please do not take offence:
they think you're desperate and will be grateful to get some. that's being honest. also they think after 30 something you've got some money stashed away, you aren't nagging to get hitched or pregnant and you don't introduce them to all your family.
they dont want young girls because young girls are broke, jealous, want kids and a wedding ring - they want to play it safe with you - also you'll be so grateful for a toy boy you'll give him your money do all the cooking clean his house and tidy up after him -
if you're keen on it - just use him for his stamina / and don't let him move in - you'll regret it within the first 3 months

Style, beauty, class, compassion, understanding, worldly,intelligence, smart, confidence, joy of living, humour, experience (in all walks of life, not just THAT) and you know what I mean. Do I really need to go on. Give one of these young lads a try, you may be very pleasantly surprised.

from what I've been told by a younger man who likes older women, he likes the fact that there is no pressure to have a family and they know how to have fun, also they're generally more experienced in bed.

chick take it for the compliment it is and enjoy yourself, face it, they have stamina :-)
