all the time, when im enjoying cinnamon toast crunch, (KNOCK KNOCK) i have to place to bowl on a table and i have to open the door and greet the person..i hate that...why does this happen alot?

It is the delicious vapors wafting through your door that entice those pesky visitors to come a knocking just as you are about to sit down and enjoy your delicious bowl of cinnamon...toast crunch.My advice to you is to stick a towel at the bottom of your door so that the wonderful smells will not escape the confines of your little sanctuary. Or just switch to grape nuts or something.

You are under no obligation to answer the door or telephone when it is inconvenient. (Exception: if you run a business out of your home.... or are having your cereal at a place of business.)
I think many people are wising up to how intrusive a telephone can be. However, you and many others think you are honor bound to answer the door.
No need to pretend you are not home. Just ignore the door unless you have invited some one over at that time. You might want to answer the door ( or take a peek) if you are expecting an important delivery.
Otherwise your home is your castle. Answer the door at your convenience.

1- Don't answer your door, then you can eat in peace.
2- Buy the economy size, invite them in and have a crunch party, (however that would mean sharing, and that leaves less for you. However it would have to be a B.Y.O.M. party. Bring your own milk. Milk is getting to expensive these days.
