Lately I have been feeling really angry about he little things. Just the other day my terrible wife forgot to take the trash out to the curb and I freaked out! I yelled at her and threatened her and then almost ran her over it the car as I took off for a time out. I have found that a few beers helps me cope but I can't be taking that kind of medicine before work. What can I do to control this?

Sounds like you could have some depression. Go to a doctor. And man quit self medicating with a beer. This really only can lead to more depression and anger. Go before you hurt someone including yourself. It is awful to feel full of anger, I know, I speak from personal experience. I wish you all the best.

You need some therapy to find out how to cope with the stress in your life and maybe to find out what you are so angry about. Or join a gym and work of some of that steam. I noted you said your terrible wife, maybe you and her need to talk about some of what is going on with you. I can just imagine that she must be terrified of you and that is no way to be when you are in a marriage and help us if there are children around to witness all of this.

You must learn to suppress the rage...
I have rage on a daily basis, but have to keep a calm demeanor for work.
When I get too angry, I immediately go outside and sit in my car for a minute or go smoke a cigarette or go to the rest room and just stand there (as long as no one is in there).
I find that when I am alone I calm down.
Sometimes you just need a minute by yourself to readjust yourself.

Hope this helps.

Whoa...dude, see a shrink. You might actually have some type of depression. Depression doesn't always have to be being sad and down. It also can be expressed through anger. I would seriously consider seeing a psychiatrist before you do something you'll regret.

See anger management, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris on page 4. Alcohol reduces your inhibitions against aggressive, and violent behaviour.

Looks like male menopause, seek professional help, almost running over your wife should not be taken lightly.
