It looks layered. But most salons are good about judging how a hair cut should be.
I took a picture to my salon, and you couldn't see the back, she judge based on the front and it came out great!

looks like she left it alittle long - and layered up - bring that picture to the salon - I'm sure they will be able to tell what looks best with the front of this hair -

Your stylist should know how to work the back in with the front
