Bulimia is a very serious eating disorder and can make you very sick. There's a better way to lose weight: eat healthy foods, don't overeat, and keep active. You can follow an exercise regimen, or you can walk or ride a bike to where you need to go instead of driving or getting a ride. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Whatever you do, don't force yourself to vomit after eating. You may lose weight, but you'll also become very sick! Please visit the links I'm providing below.

If you stop eating, all you will do is slow down your metabolism and it will be even harder to lose your weight. In your case I would advise changing up your diet a little to keep too much fat out of your diet. Your daily energy intake should be about 70% complex carbs, 20% protein and 10% fat. Complex carbs are best taken from whole wheat breads, pastas and fruits. Fruits will also speed up your metabolism. You want to avoid eating too much meat, especially pork and red meats. The best meats for you are chicken and especially fish. That is how you should get your protein. Another thing you can do is eat 6 small - medium meals a day instead of eating 3 meals a day. This will keep your metabolism running constantly and you will actually burn a few calories just because of this. Keep your biggest meals more towards the middle of the day and the early afternoon, and only eat a small dinner. Doing a mild exercise before breakfast will jumpstart your metabolism and will help you digest your meals faster throughout the day. Doing those things alone should help you lose some pounds. If you are really willing, then you can do some heavy exercising as well. Cardio exercises is the best way to burn fat. At your weight, running may be undesirable, so a stationary bike is the best thing for you. Some studies have shown that if you do a muscle-building workout, and then a cardio exercise afterwards, you burn more fat and your muscles will actually build a bit faster. So if you want to gain a bit of muscle as well as lose some weight, then try it out. At 15 and in the middle of puberty, your body is at it's healthiest, so losing weight will be easier for you than it will when you're 40 or even 30. That's why healthy living habits are stressed so much in schools, because the habits you establish when you are in adolescence are the ones that you will keep through life. If you change some of your habits and do the things I've talked about, then you should lose weight and get down to a healthy size. Just remember, something like this takes time. You won't see dramatic results within a week or a month. But, if you are really strong of spirit, then stick to this for a year and you will lose weight.

That's called bulimia and it's an eating disorder. Technically, yes you lose weight when you throw up food because you aren't consuming the calories. However, you are also damaging your body and the weight loss is not permanent. What happens is that your metabolism starts to shut down because your body isn't getting enough food to survive. Your body thinks that it's bieng starved (which it is), so it holds onto everything you eat rather than burning it. As soon as you eat normally again, the weight will come back on and it will be harder to lose because your metabolism has slowed down so much.
Throwing up food is the same thing as not eating, and eventually you will die if you don't give your body the fuel it needs to survive.

Probably not. Many bulimics actually do not lose weight and develop a 'belly' from their stomach stretching out due to binging.
More important is that forcing yourself to throw up is extremely unhealthy. The stomach acid can wear away at the enamel on your teeth. Consistent purging can cause electrolyte imbalances in your system, which can lead to many nasty side effects (including heart attack and death). In addition to nutrient deficiencies from not digesting your food and their nutrients. Besides that starting to make yourself throw up to "lose a few pounds" can cause you to develop a lifelong eating disorder, which will cause you a lot of heartache in the future (see the documentary "THIN").
If this is something you are struggling with, I urge you to seek professional help. If it is just something you are thinking about, please try exercising and eating healthy food if you need to lose weight. Talk to your doctor or a nutritionist if you don't know where to start.

There are easier ways to lose weight than putting your body through this. The acids in your stomach will slowly eat away at your esophagus and then the enamel on your teeth. Not to mention throw your immune system out of whack and do a number on your heart....
If you are bulemic and throw up after you eat every time, you need to seek medical attention. It is a very serious condition and is just as serious as anorexia nervousa.
Please read the link below and you may find some helpful information. Please don't let yourself be a statistic.
Good luck and I hope this helps.

If your question is,
"can I lose weight?" the answer would be yes. HOWEVER:
IT IS NOT HEALTHY AND LEADS TO EATING DISORDERS AND WILL DAMAGE YOUR BODY.
regurgitation might work with cows and roseanne bhar but not humans (and cows and roseanne do it for different reasons).
you will not absorb the nutrients into your body as your body doesn't digest the food to break them down.

Yes you can, of course the practise will also kill you in a short period of time, but what the heck, your looks are obviously more important to you than your life.....so go for it, knock yourself out, clean the gene pool a bit.
