Due to the recent media frenzy on impending terrorist attacks this summer, what are you doing to prepare for the onlsaught?
I stocked up on beer and toilet paper in case they have me pinned in my home. I also plan on mounting a turret to the top of my house. My neighbor wants to mine the road, but I think that is taking it a bit too far.
What is your opinion?

If we cant produce a bounty, could we at least brand em' so everybody knows they are radicals? Hell, sex offenders have to put signs in their yards why not identify muslim radicals in some similiar way???

Ever since 9/11, I've been fully prepared. I got plenty of handguns and rifles and thousands of rounds of ammunition to prepare myself, my family, and any people that want to tag along a way to defend themselves.
I've also have 150 pounds of canned food. I own 20 acres about 1:30 hours away from my house and it's in a pretty secluded area and I can stay there and build some shelter, while I have enough food for about a month to hide.
Mining the road may be taking it a little bit too far, but I've got plenty of empty sandbags that I can build some bunkers in and have a group of survivors on the lookout.
And I'll probably have beer so we'll make Molotovs out of those.
But the terrorist threat is real and even if you never have to eat your canned food or hide out in the middle of nowhere, it's always good to be prepared.

I am all for taking that little section of land between Pakistan and Afghanistan that we keep hearing about, where Osama is vacationing, and work out our nuclear arsenal for a bit. I would think 10 or 15 nukes in that region should put a scare into old Bin Laden anyway whatchathink?
I think we need to put a bounty on muslim radicals and have open season right here in the good old USA.....

I'm not so sure terrorists are as much of a threat as the news media makes them out to be. After all, there have been no follow-up attacks since 9-11. What kind of enemy goes dorminant for six years? The worst thing we can do is 'shoot' at an enemy that is NOT THERE. Ever heard of: McCarthyism? Someone was saying that vehicles causing accidents on US roads are really solo terrorist attacks. Now, THAT IS A STRETCH!
I believe in being ready, but I'm not ready to start shooting at shadows.

Here in Montana we feel deprived of all the action since none of the terrorists (other than the bill collectors at the power company) seem to be able to find their way here. Trust me, we are a simple country people and there is no truth to the rumor that we shoot first and ask questions later.

I'm with cappy on this one. We should carpet bomb that whole damn area where Pakistan and Afghanistan borders. We know that's where Bin Hiding is. Why we don't go in there full-force is something I do not understand. I'm sick of the US being pushed around by a bunch of cave dwelling savages.

I think we deffinatly need a bounty on terrorists also on illegal aliens If our government would do this It would create many many jobs and save them money in the long run.It also would make them think twice about sneaking into our country.
