cooking does remove some of the vitamins but it also removes most of the bacteria and other nasties. In this day and age where we have no idea where our food comes from, who has handled it and the sanitation involved in it's processing why take any chances. I used to drive over the road east coast to west coast , north to south and never did I see any sanitary facilities for the workers in the fields. How do they deal with going to the bathroom and cleaning up after?

Raw are NOT necessarily better for you. Cooking can actually convert some nutrients into compounds the body can use, rather than "just passing through."

You should have posted this question:
"Why does everyone keep asking if uncooked veggies are better than cooked?".

This is not an actual question, you are telling me something I already know.
