We only tried one night, and it was awful. He kept getting out and we'd put him back in- it was like a game to him. WE did the normal routine- a bath, read stories, music... He just kept getting out, he thought it was great having that freedom. We tried staying in the room with him and watching him and making him get back into bed. We stayed up until like 2 am doing this, and we just put the front railing back on the crib.

He's ready for potty training, and I really need him to be able to get out of his bed on his own to go potty, because he wakes, takes off his diaper and pees all over his bed.

first thing put clothes on him at night that make it so he cant reach his diaper. second. wear him out more in the day. then do your normal routine. take all toys out of his room. put him to bed and close the door. if he comes out say nothing to him just take him back to bed. repeat as needed it will take a few night up to a few weeks.keep at it. dont put the rail up he could get hurt climbing over it

this worked for my son as well get rid of the crib go buy a twin bed and sheets and stuff and put it up in his room. place the bed on one wall . not the one with a window. put the crib mattress on the floor in case he falls this can be stored under the bed during the day and get one of those bed rails. a different bed just might do the trick. your on the right track keep it up

Tell him he's a big boy now & that it's his big boys bed. As for taking off nappy & peeing on the bed, honestly, I'd make him sleep in it for a while. If you get really irritated with him, he will do it because it's a game, try ignoring it. If he complains about his bed being wet, just tell him, well if you didn't do it, it wouldn't be wet. Try buying a plastic matress protector so the pee doesn't go into the matress. If he was ready for potty training, he would not be peeing on his bed, he would want to go potty.

Take him shopping and let him pick out his own toddler sheets. I did this with my daughter and it worked great. It also helped her to stop wetting the bed. She picked out Deigo and we kept saying diego doesnt want to get wet, or you wont be able to use the sheets. It worked.

Well the first thing that i would try is to bribe him or something like that. Say that if they do this for mommy/daddy i give you something. (prob candy would work like chocolate. yeah i would recommend chocolate) Trust me on this one!
This will definitely work. And eventually you would not have to give him anything he would just forget that you used to do that and sleep on his own.

I hope i helped you.
