It depends on how you turn him down. If you simply say, "No thanks, I brought my own," that would be fine. You don't want to say something like, "Are you nuts? How can you stand those things! They're made for wimps!" That would be extremely rude.

When I visit people, or go to get-togethers, I have to bring my own pop. I only drink diet soda, and aspartame gives me migraines. I have to drink Pepsi One or 7 Up Plus, since they are made with Splenda, and most people don't buy those brands. I just politely explain my problem, and no one has seemed to be offended yet. Also, if the other person is a pretty close friend, I'm sure he'd understand and not take it personally.

Sure -- he should definitely understand. I'd just make a point to tell him you prefer the full flavor, but thank him anyway. He should remember and stop offering his. Maybe he offers because he'd like to try a full-flavor, perhaps you should offer him one.

It is very impolite to turn down any type of smoke even if you don't smoke. Smoke it and then smoke your own.

"Woah, thanks alot, but I have mine." Offer him yours back as the conversation flows, he'd than understand what you went through if he thinks full flavor's not for him. It's a small issue, don't sweat over that. =)
