so i have these cousins and they're like 4 or 5 years older than me as is my older brother, but when they used to come and visit a few years ago i obviously was pretty annoying and wanted to hang out with them all the time. but now that i'm 15 and they're like 19, i feel like we can share the same feelings and hang out without me being annoying. i wanna show them that i'm totally not that little girl anymore, and that over the visit, they're gonna start wanting to hang out with me more than eachother (especially my girl cousin who just turned 19 cause she's awesome).

The way be thought mature is to act mature. This means think about things before you say or do them. Don't be impulsive or childish. Hard to do as that part of your brain that is the "social controller" doesn't fully develop until 18-22. But it can develop earlier if you exercise it. And understand that emotions can be controlled. Actually, this is what growing up is all about: learning control over yourself.

Well there isn't much to it all you have to do is stop doing what you used to do like things that annoyed them. People don't like when they are always being annoyed so when they come act mature don't be a bug a boo where u follow them and do things they don't want you to do. Talk differentley more maturely and one thing will lead to another and you'll be the person that they want you to be so u can hang out w/ them.

you just need to act more mature it is more fun for them if you act like you know what they are talking about and some times you actually do! but a couple days before you go to there house[s] take on more responsibilities that will help to they take on responsibilities which is something that has help them grow up along with experience with life you also need to be you self if they are your cousins and friends they wont care how you act

i understand your feelings of wanting to act older but one advice is to stick to your own age
why grow up so fast when you can get to enjoy the freedom and less responsibilities?
being older isn't as glamorous as you think it is and hanging out with people your own age can be as fun too~

Why be someone you're not? It's going to go by a lot faster than you think. Enjoy being 15 while you can. Be yourself and forget the wannabes.

Why not just be yourself. Your childhood goes by too fast. Just enjoy being a 15 year old.

you dont have to act older than you are because you are older and just tell them you want to chill with them for a while and let them know that you are older from before.
