While in church the other day, my pastor said that there is a point where you would rather sin than have a relationship with God. Is this true?

But after you reach the point of no salvation, can you get it back?

Because he said you can't.

sadly, to some people, yes. many people would rather live in denial of the truth and have 'fun' the easy way - without ever knowing the most enjoyable part of life IS one with God.

some people would rather sin than have a relationship with God. They think they're missing out on something in life by obeying God. So they choose a path of life that usually leads to self destruction.

Praise Our Father who is in heaven, all I'll ever want and need I have in Jesus Christ.

The point of no salvation is when you die. However, for all practical purposes, the point of no salvation is when you have hardened your heart and the sinful habits of your life are so entrenched that you are unwilling to turn from sin to Christ.

I believe when someone sins so much, sinning becomes the natural thing to do. An instant point of no salvation would be blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

You have done nothing requiring this "salvation" .Get away from those fear mongers who try to manipulate you with the ridiculous concept of hell. There is no such thing.Live your life well, there is no judgment to fear. This doesn't excuse you from moral responsibility. It does however, get rid of this ridiculous guilt feeling instilled in you by pastors(most of which are atheist businessmen who know they have a good product"salvation"to sell) You will not go to hell.Regardless of any Christian who posted. This is TRUTH

Some people choose to go the "easy" route. But it is really better to remain in fellowship with God. He loves you the best and knows you the best.

I guess that happens only if someone decides so. 'Cause God is always waiting for your regret and faith, but you're the only one who can decide if you wanna be helped, saved or left aside. ;)
