Depends on your budget but i would make sure you at least stop off for a few days at
Sydney - do a harbour cruise, bridge climb, go up centre-point tower, see the blue mountains and do some shopping in the malls,
Ayers Rock - do sounds of silence dinner, breakfast walk around the rock and sunrise, valley of the winds walk (Olga's and sunset BBQ
Cairns - Kuranda railway, Outer barrier reef cruise, Daintree rain forest and take your pick! Loads to do!
