There is the great dilemma, how to relate a loving Uncle with horrific natural disasters. Natural causes are not acceptable to many who see God`s hand in everything. If Science and common sense are ignored, we can invent any absurd myth to protect superstitious belief, which of course, is how most believers handle nature and the environment.

If you really are gullible enough to believe in 'god' then chances are you beleive in free will etc, where this 'god' character has apparently stepped back and and let us sort things out for ourselves. If he existed, and was omnipotent, then surely he would also stop plagues, famines, floods, fires, terrorists. I personally beleive we will wipe ourselves out long before a meteor does!

I bet he killed them because they were staring to refuse to let people ride them. I'm sure the new creationist museum has an explanation for the whole sordid incident.

I think he destroyed them, so that we could peacefully exist. He wanted to make man in his image, but im sure he wouldnt want him to live in fear of their Big, dangerous, volatile, neighbours.
