Is the potential in the seed?

If you plant honesty, you will reap trust

If you plant goodness, you will reap friends.

If you plant humility, you will reap greatness.

If you plant perseverance, you will reap contentment

If you plant consideration, you will reap perspective.

If you plant hard work, you will reap success.

If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation.

If you plant faith in Christ, you will reap a harvest.

So, be careful what you plant now; it will determine what you will reap later.

Tell me what are you sowing?

Look again for I said the potential is in the seed, so if the potential is in the apple, what do you see?

I see the underestimated potential of the seed, which can grow into an apple tree a hundred times larger than the apple it originated from.

It means if we plant just a small amount of goodness, and nurture it then it will give us friends worth a hundred times greater than the seed of goodness itself. The same goes for perseverence, hard work, forgiveness etc.

By the way, the question was a very thoughtful one, and I did primoa1970 a favour by giving you a star for it.

You are talking about karma but buha said there is a chance in between the karma result. You plant seeds on the ground, some of them with water and sunshine will grown healthly, some of them eaten by birds, some of them dry up by sunshine. So in between the karma result there is a chance to make the result. And the karma result will carry forward everlasting, it will waiting the chance good to result.
Christ had been to easthern to learn dharma when he was 14-28, so he understand what is chances and he could tell the above stories. In bible; christ 14-28 was empty.

I see an apple because that's what it is. I tend to call 'em like I see 'em. There is no need to analyze a piece of fruit.
