Not in ear ones, because they keep falling out. Ones which have zero sound leakage and have fantastic sound quality.

Bose make some fantastic ones, probably the best on the market. They're really expensive but will last you a lifetime and the sound quality is phenomenal, so it's a good investment!

It all depends on how much you're willing to spend on them.

I currently use Sennheiser PX200's at work:

You can get these on Amazon for about £25... and they sit on-top of the ear and are generally pretty good.

However, if you want something better than that - then try what most movie directors seem to use on-set. Sony professional headphones:

I have a pair of £90 MDR-7505's I use for recording/mixing and they are lovely!

Otherwise, if you really have money to burn, check out Grado headphones, which may just blow your mind...

If you have money to burn then you can't do any better than the Bose Quiet Comfort 2 headphones. These have built in noise cancelling and are ideal for air travel. I have had a pair for years and have given me trouble free use.

Really good headphones? REALLY good?

Then you need a pair of Denon AH-D5000 - absolutely incredible sound and only £430. But then REALLY good does cost money. You can't get REALLY good for peanuts...

(By the way, don't bother with Bose, ever - it's overpriced, poorly made, rotten sounding rubbish.)
