the thousands of people committing such "sin", not knowing that it was a sin in the first place...is that "counted" as a sin?

The Bible is very specific that a man leaves his father and mother and cleaves to ONE wife. In the eyes of God if you have marital relations with a person then you are married in a sense. If you move on and have it with another person then you are committing adultery with the new person.

Also, your mind and soul were created to bond once for life with a mate, not go around bonding all over the place and ripping your soul up into tiny shreds so that you never can form the deep bond intended for marriage.

Adultery and fornication are forbidden in the 10 commandments handed down by God to Moses. If you do not know a thing is a sin then it is not a sin for you. It is the one time in life when ignorance of the law is on your side. After you know it is sin then you must not do it again or it becomes sin for you. You must know that a thing is wrong for it to be sin.

It is specifically stated in the case of Mary Magdalene who had pre-marital sex with the Romans soldiers. She was not actually a prostitute as she did not ask for a fee. But the virile roman soldiers riding on big horses and with nice uniforms as handsome looking comparing to the young jews riding only on donekys would looked shabby to a pretty woman like Mary Magdalene. And the LORD JESUS CHRIST told her Sin no more. It meant do not commit pre-marital sex with anyone particularly with the Roman soldiers. It is so as there were many jews at that point in time who bought their Roman citizenship; thus, Mary Magdalene surely took seriously of marrying one of the Roman soldiers thus, that premarital sex.

one million Corinthians 7:7-9 7I wish that anyone men have been as i'm. yet each guy has his own present from God; one has this present, yet another has that. 8Now to the only and the widows I say: that's stable for them to stay single, as i'm. 9But in the event that they can't administration themselves, they might desire to marry, for that's extra useful to marry than to burn with pastime. Galatians 5:sixteen-26 sixteen I say then: stroll interior the Spirit, and additionally you shall no longer fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and those are opposite to one yet another, so as which you do no longer do the failings which you like. 18 yet once you're led by the Spirit, you're no longer below the regulation. 19 Now the works of the flesh are obvious, that are: adultery,[c] fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, egocentric goals, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders,[d] drunkenness, revelries, and so on; of which I inform you until now, merely as I additionally informed you in time previous, that people who prepare such issues won't inherit the dominion of God. 22 however the fruit of the Spirit is love, exhilaration, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, power of strategies. against such there is not any regulation. 24 and people who're Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live interior the Spirit, enable us to additionally stroll interior the Spirit. 26 enable us to no longer advance into boastful, upsetting one yet another, envying one yet another. Revelations 22:14-15 14 Blessed are people who do His commandments, that they might have the appropriate to the tree of existence, and can enter during the gates into the city. 15 yet outdoors are canines and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. those are in basic terms some verses the place God is against fornication, that's intercourse until now marriage. i'm hoping those assist you out and that i pray God opens your eyes and make you notice that that's inaccurate to have intercourse until now marriage. it is stated SPECIFICALLY in the Bible.

1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, "For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: that every one of you should know how to possess his vessel (body) in sanctification and honor, not in lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which do not know God."

Ephesians 5:1-3, 5, "Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savor. But fornication, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not once be named among you, as becometh saints...For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God

ever heard of the word fornication?????

if those people before Christ stuck to ONE SEXUAL PARTNER, then they are not sinning against God.

but if people like King David, Abraham had multiple wives, yes they were committing a sin against God.

but God of the Bible is merciful if they turn away from their ways towards God, in which many did, and were forgiven.

The word fornication refers to "sex outside of marriage" and fornication is roundly condemned in multiple places in Scripture.

By the way, premarital sex is not the only act condemned by God in the 6th commandment and in the New Testament passages. ANY sexual activity (lust, premarital sex, adultery, viewing pornography) that violates chastity is forbidden and puts us at enmity with God.

its not stated in the bible for the same reason abortion is not mentioned in the bible. Because the bible is not self interpreting and needs an authoritative church founded on the apostles to make binding decrees on matters of faith and morals based on the many teachings of christ that were handed down orally by jesus and not recorded in the scriptures.
they were not recorded explicitly but you will find many implicit condemnations of such acts if you ask for the holy spirit to intervene.

to truly understand God we need a few things, faith, reason and the church.

by the way gnostic,

the 3 times I divorce you is a muslim teaching.

Fornication is mentioned on a few occasions by Paul.

Everyone knew that fornication was sex outside of the marriage bond.

Every social issue we have is covered in Scripture....so that we have no excuse today to deny it's worth.

There is a spirit who will answer you better than I can but you have closed the door in his face. You won't even listen. Go to the source if you want to know the truth. I have and I know the truth. It's scarier than any nightmare, more beautiful than any promise including the rainbow. and simpler than any jigsaw puzzle, even a baby can do.
