the thing is that you don't need to make your religious part strong... but rather you need to make your personalised relationship with God stronger then every day. you will see the success..
Bible says "if you draw near unto me I will draw near unto you"
Keeping a closer walk with Jesus is the safest and happiest thing in life.

The Bible says that God does not give us a spirit of fear, so your fear is coming from satan. Once you learn to know the difference between those influences in your life, it will be easier. That's not always easy, but you could start by doing a Biblical study of satan and learn more about how he operates. Then study the Holy Spirit. If you understand how these two spiritual beings operate in our world and in the life of the believer, you'll be fine.
I also sounds like you might not be secure in your salvation - if not, read and study the book of Romans.

The Bible says to renew our minds. So study the word of God. This can be done by reading the Bible, and books written on Biblical subjects.

All religious belief and faith on this planet was born out of fear.
Fear of death, fear of the unknown, of natural disasters, etc.
Some people find comfort in faith. It's kinda like a fear insurance. They will not die, but gain everlasting life thru faith, one god or another will protect them and keep them safe, and so on...

The word says rebuke the devil and he will flee you, draw nigh unto God and he will draw nigh to you.Thoughts are going to come to us especially what we are weak in.
Satan brings to my mind at times that I should just kill myself because that's what I tried to do before I cried out to God to help me.It is Satan's job to accuse the brethren. It's my job to rebuke him.
As far a being scared, the word says perfect love cast out all fear. That perfect love is Jesus and in our weakness his strength is made perfect.
Rejoice and give thanks for every situation you find yourself in and watch and see if your faith doesn't grow.God Bless You.

Stop 'sinning' or get a better religion that doesn't make you feel this way.
Do you really want to spend the rest of your life like this?
