Begin by noticing that the Christian religion began in the Eastern Hemisphere. During its earliest generation, it was mostly in Asia and Africa. It took it nearly three years to spread across the majority of Europe.

Today, it is the largest religion in the Western Hemisphere. But it is experiencing more growth in the Eastern Hemisphere. South Korea's population is now overwhelming Christian, with the largest church in the world (over 1 million members) being located there. It is also enjoying phenomal growth in Japan and much of China. Both those country could have a Christian majority within a couple of decades. It is also growing in southern Africa, not part of the Western Hemisphere.

So I do not know that it is because God is "partial" to the West. Rather it is because that is where the Christian message was preached and took hold. Now that it is being preaching in the other parts of the world, it is growing there also.
