My friend entered the US using only a tourist visa. He illegally had a job. How is it possible? Tourist visa doesn't allow the holder to work, does it?
His visa was even changed from tourist to working visa eventually.

What I meant was that a tourist visa who tried to work is an illegal alien. And after his visa expired, he was still working and did not return to his country.

many of the employers hire their homies and they keep them and change their status you just need a little luck and everything is possible in this world and of course a little connection too,which i don't have any of them.

#1 he isn't an illegal alien ,he had a tourist visa he was legal.
#2 he got a work permit to work in America, Legal.
He could not be much of a friend now? could he.

If he has a valid visa he's not illegal.
