YES! I understand how you feel. Some people think that just because you appreciate music that THEY don't understand or like, that you must be some sort of deviant. The funny thing is, most of those same people will be screaming about how much they "love" a certain artist or band as soon as that band becomes popular in the mainstream, forgetting the fact that they criticized us not so long ago for liking that same music BEFORE that band became mainstream.

Don't worry about them sweetie. All that means is that YOU can think for yourself while those that put you down are like sheep, just following the herd without any originality or creativity of their own. It makes you special, so be proud of that.

I consider you. i'm getting so indignant as quickly as I see human beings bashing a band, because of the fact whoever that band is, they have stored somebody's existence. this is tremendously pathetic to decide somebody in reaction to their style in music. My well-known band is Bon Jovi. i'm getting a lot crap for liking an "uncool" band. the sorrowful factor is, countless the individuals who decide them have no theory what they're incredibly approximately. they seem to be a lot deeper than what ninety 5% of the international sees. Their albums "shop the religion," and "at the instant," are resourceful masterpieces. a number of their appropriate music is their maximum vague music, and this is incredibly unhappy that folk decide them in reaction to some mainstream hits and a 20 300 and sixty 5 days previous coiffure. they're quite proficient, extreme songwriters, who've actual been inducted into the Songwriter's corridor of acceptance. Jon Bon Jovi is so a lot extra effective than a tremendously face with magnificent hair - he's actual a very extreme, captivating man or woman (who actual hates being seen as a intercourse image.) ...besides, you're thoroughly correct. music is subjective. this is artwork - and no artwork desires an excuse for this is life.

I would think that in order to get your meaning across you'd want to spell better, faster typing or not.

Hate, is a hard word to use, maybe your judged by your actions and you only think it's your music.
There a goth group that comes into Wal-Mart at times, they wear high top hats "T" shirts with words like "God sucks" and other things that can't be printed here. How do we judge them, by there dress of course. If one of them with his black lip stick comes up to me and asks a question, I'm on guard, I don't know what to think because I'm judging him by how he looks. Wouldn't you?
Therefore your judged by how you carry yourself, your dress, the way you walk or talk. Your judged by what you listen to etc.
That doesn't mean your wrong and, you can do these things but, your judged by them.
We have that right as much as you do listening to it. Who's right? you or us, we're the majority so, we win.

i would just think that you might have bad taste in music...

But yes i do hate when some people assume that cause i like a certain type of music (or even dress a certain way) i then also have a certain type of personality , or behave a certain way and assuming that , even without actually getting to know me as a person....but guessing is fine but assuming something like that ..... that 's something i hate

oh yes! i listen to heavy metal music. always have, always will. people always assume i'm evil, or a satanist. i'm actually a witch, but that doesn't have anything to do with my musical tastes. in fact, most people i know are pagan and very few of them like heavy metal. most of them hate it, whether they be witches, wiccans, druids, asatru or any other path. now my son gets the same stereotype. he's 15 and listens to metal. he's a great kid, gets great grades in school, holds down a job, is polite, intelligent, and volunteers with many organizations - but when people first see him, they just see his metal shirts and think the worst

I don't judge your religious beliefs by your listening to My Chemical Romance. I just assume you have horrible taste in music.

Why do you think its wrong to judge people by the music they listen to?

Doesn't the music you enjoy represent your character in some ways?

If someone listens to Death Metal that is about murder and killing or Gangster rap about theft and rape, shouldn't I judge those people by the music they enjoy?

People judge others period.
Humans feel that they have to put a label on it before they can even talk to them

I judge you more on your English skills, not your music of choice. "coz" and "alot" are not words. You started two sentences with "and" and you finished with a period and exclamation point together.
