The fats and sodium in the unhealthy food make it salty and tasty (sometimes juicy) and after eating it, you will keep on going back to the restaurant to eat the food. Healthy food tastes nice but after eating all that junk food, you would feel that the food does not taste as nice and therefore stay away from healthy food. You know that it is unhealthy to eat junk food, but you can't help but go back to eat it, thats why some people have obesity problems.

unhealthy food taste good and delicious because there is sugar in the food witch makes you fat and weak so let say you wanted to eat meat or chocolate so you picked meat, the meat will make you stronger because it doesn't have sugar in it and so if you ate the chocolate, your body will become weaker and you will gain Waite and you are doing diet so you don't want to gain Waite!

Because we are conditioned to enjoy things like fat, sugar and salt. That's what our taste buds are used to...especially the fat!
It's what puts the "cream" in ice cream..it's in choclate, anything fried, butter. You name it...it's got fat..and it DOES taste good..gives food it's "rich" flavor....rich in fat!
Then there's sugar.. There's sugar in everything you think doesn't have it..ketchup is loaded with sugar. I heard a 12 oz. Coke has nearly a cup! They disguise it as sucrose and glucose on labels...it's sugar...You've got to do a lot of label
reading to avoid it...and too much of it leads to diabetes.
Salt! Omigod! I used to be a salt junkie! Had to SEE the salt
before I would touch my food..really worried my mom. Eventually..I cut it out, but like sugar it can lead to kidney stones and other diseases.
O.K...the silver lining is that it's possible to consciously change the way we taste. I'm cooking for a client now who doesen't want butter on her cooked vegetables, or oatmeal
either. A lot of food is still pretty tasty if left alone. Steamed or
sauteed veggies, especially.
I still gotta have my pepper, and hot peppers are actually a blood cleanser, so eat the hot and spicy, but cut WAY DOWN on the salt, sugar, and FAT! Happy munching!

Its only unhealthy if you eat too much of it.

A little chocolate can actually be good for you. But 20 candy bars an hour means you're a pig.

generally... unhealthy foods taste good because your palate is used to them.. you have trained your food to enjoy fats and sugars more than healthy foods grains and proteins..

best way to begin enjoying healthy food is to "retrain" your palate to enjoy those healthy foods...

If you meet an Australian here in the states, they'll practically throw up eating American foods because its so sweet and unhealthy and fattening... their palates are trained differently than ours...

If you want to start eating healthy... remind yourself why you're eating healthy.. and just because its healthy doesn't mean that is has to taste bad...

use olive oils and salt free seasonings... your food will kick butt!!! I changed my whole lifestyle two years ago and haven't ever looked back... healthy food is the bomb!
