Body mechanics are VERY important, make sure that you BEND YOUR KNEES and use your thighs 0when lifting..
Every time you BEND_OVER you are adding stress to that back
I could just about bet that you either pulled a muscle or tore a disk enough to cause that pain.
DONT YA THINK ITS ABOUT TIME YOU GET YOUR "BACK" BACK IN SHAPE AND GO TO THE DR?
Have you tried relaxing in a hot tub or swimming pool? and if you do go swimming - CAUTION not to get all crazy and start playing Vollyball - you will really twist for sure and cause alot more pain- )
Light water walking - stretches will surely help your back-- Right now I am guessing that it is SOOO tight! You are 1/3 your body weight in the water and the bouyancy makes it so easy to keep going .. that is why i said take it easy becaus e Overdoing exercise is not gonna help--
I hope this will hold you over until you can SEE a dr? You are gonna call right?
GOOD
good luck , I hope you didnt do a lot of damage and you can get relief soon!
email if you want to chat- or talk

If you haven't injured your back, it could be a problem with a slipped disc or it could be caused by your bed and the way that you sleep. As it's your back, you should really see your GP and get it checked out. If your GP can't find any problem, try using a hard board under your mattress or sleep on the floor and see if that improves it.

Probably a cartilage difficulty in which it has deteriorated to a factor in which now the bone is rubbing up in opposition to bone. Have you participated in plenty of sporting activities? Upper knee discomfort is predominantly related to athletes who have to participate in plenty of reducing.
