Question: "Why are there two different Creation accounts in Genesis chapters 1-2?"
Answer: Genesis 1:1 says “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth…” Later, in Genesis 2:4, it seems that a second, different story of Creation begins. However, close examination of the text will show that what is recorded in 1:1-2:3 is an introductory summary of the events of creation, and that what begins with verse 2:4 is a more detailed account of the Creation of mankind. There is nothing in the two Creation accounts that contradicts. Genesis 2:4-25 should be understood as a further explanation of what happened in Genesis 1:26-31. It is comparable to taking a magnifying glass to Genesis 1:26-31 to take a closer look at the Creation of mankind.
With love through Christ Jesus,
Dusty

Gen: 1:1: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
There are two bodies mentioned in this verse; the heaven and the earth. It simply stated a fact and left the time factor out. The verse not only did not say when, but left it totally to our imagination, as to the eternal span of time, and how the creation took place.
At the end of Genesis 1:1 the first earth age ceased to exist in its previous form. God created the earth to be inhabited, and then He destroyed it. There was an entire earth age that existed between verses one and two of Genesis. This first earth age is spoken of in II Peter, Jeremiah, Proverbs, and Jude. We will look into these Scripture passages and try to understand the deeper meaning of our Father's Word.
This is God speaking as Isaiah is writing it down, and He is telling us that when He created the earth, it was not in vain. "Vain" is the same Hebrew word that we saw in Genesis 1:2, which was given as "void". God created this earth to be lived on, and to be inhabited. Genesis 1:1 told us that God created the earth to be inhabited. The "Tohu", the "destruction", was not part of the creation plan of verse one, but came after the fall of Satan when one third of all the souls followed Satan in the first earth age, in verse two.

If you read the Genesis account for the problem that most have with Gen 2:19, use the DRC translation.
It really is necessary to realize that the KJV is O L D -- very old.
Gen 2: 19And the Lord God having formed out of the ground all the beasts of the earth, and all the fowls of the air, brought them to Adam to see what he would call them: for whatsoever Adam called any living creature the same is its name. (DRC)

Because there is two heavens and two earths, chapter one is Heaven where the angels were made and the sons of God and chapter two was Adam and all of the creatures made and brought to Adam to name and lastly Eve was made. But there are 3 heaven and 3 hells but are more commonly known as dimensions rather than Heavens or Hells. Our world and hell were created so that evil could leave Heaven.
I will show you some scriptural proof.
2 Corinthians 12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
Psalm 86:13 For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.
Notice the words how angels left their heavenly place;
Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
Here is a symbolic story of the Devil pulling angels from heaven and casting them to earth to kill Jesus Christ; Revelation 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
The Devil was cast to earth and received the Power of Hell and Death when he got Adam and Eve to disbelieve the words of God. And the Devil received his power through lies he told, and his children promote the same lies to bring glory to themselves rather than God.
Note also there is no account of where and how the Angels were created otherwise; Also we do not understand that Jesus Christ really created everything until the New Testiment; Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Because Moses was confused and had no idea what he was talking about. Jesus gave us the accurate account of creation in The Apocryphon of John which the church rejects because it destroys ALL of their doctrinal myths. Be smart, believe Jesus, not Moses.

This site answers better than I could:
http://www.godandscience.org/apologetics/genesis2.html
However, if you want the short answer, here it is:
Genesis 1 is the description of the creation of the heavens and the Earth.
Genesis 2 is the description of the creation of the Garden of Eden.
Make sense?

as u said its story,so it may have different versions, since created by some humanbeing, not by the creator himself or some selfrealised/enlightened soul, true version can be discovered within oneself.
