Aluminum is the largest percentage of metal used.
There is also titanium, stainless steel CRESS (Corrosion Resistant Stainless Steel), minell, durell, carbon fiber, fiberglass, kevlar, etc.

Basically aircraft body is made of aluminum.But due to defective properties of aluminium and also dues to the various positives and properties of polymers various are used for wings, fuselage etc the new Boeing 787 is 80 % polymer.

i believe Boeing is actually using carbon , it reduces the fuel composition as lighter
