It depends. If he has lame tats, like Tweety Birds or tribal bands (assuming he's not actually part of a tribe), then it's not sexy at all. Meaningless tats are a total turn off. If you want to get into a fad so that you can attract women, try shaving your scrotum instead.

Now, if his tats are real artwork, then YES, it's sexy. His tats mean something. If he's been getting them for years and works with a tattoo artist to work out the nuances BEFORE the tat work even begins, then yes, it's sexy. He can tell you what each of the tats mean, where he got them, how he was feeling when he got them, etc. Very sexy.

Here's the thing- you can't fake it. Guys who go around flexing their muscles and going shirtless just to show off their new ink, uh, well those guys can get lost. Guys who put the tat where they want it, and not just in visible places, and wears them just like it's untattooed skin, they're sexy.

Don't get a tattoo that every other idiot in the world has. Examples include: Asian writing, dragons, celtic symbols. I speak Japanese and the amount of spelling mistakes or total lack of any sense whatsoever on some tattoos would ASTOUND you.

If you are a skinny little b*stard, getting a huge flaming skull down your boney arms will not compensate for a lack of muscle.

My personal opinion? Yes, I think it's a major turn-on when men have tattoos. However, like everything, there's a limit--too many is kinda gross. And it also depends on where the tattoo is located, and what it is! If it's something offensive, such as gang-related symbols, then, hell no. I hate that. But if it's something cool-looking, then I do like them on the arms and also on the back. I find that VERY sexy and hot. :)

All depends on the individual and what they like..I like maybe one or two decent tatts.I'm really intrigue on more of the reason and meaning into picking out a tattoos,the designs and where it placed, also on my decision if the tattoos a true art work or jail tats.I have no tattoos only because i really find that they degrade women,and if they have one it should be hidden!!!

No, I find it more likely a sign of a problem. I know it's much more common to have them as jewelry. But, I can't imagine any piece of art I'd want on my wall for my WHOLE life, let alone on my body. Gotta wonder about someone who would.

I'm not judging (much), whether they were datable would depend primarily on their character and ability to make me laugh ;)

Can't say I've ever found anything sexy about permanent ink on skin.

Actually, my fiance got one on his back a couple of years ago. I was furious when I found out about it. It still irks me, but I don't let on.

generally yeah - depending on the tattoo - i mean a giant bugs bunny obviously wouldnt be a sexy one!
