which methods of cooking, steaming, baking and shallow-frying reduces the weight of the chicken breast after cooking the most? all factors are constant for all methods used(time, weight..) please tell me in sequence. i need answers from those who really really knows. thanks

The meat loses weight because it loses liquid through the cooking process. Therefore, all else being the same, every one of these methods except frying should be about the same. The high heat of frying seals the outside of the meat and reduces leakage. This is why you often sear meat before continuing the cooking process.

if you take off the skin and all the visible fat, then grilling, poaching or steaming are suitable, with steaming I like to put the breast on a sheet of foil, place a couple of slices of tomato, a slice of onion, some celery and some lemon juice with a slice of lemon, wrap it up and bake it.

This will be almost fat free and give you the goodness of the other vegs.

Remove the bones and skin and all visible fat with a knife. Then steam or poach it. That's about the lowest fat way to prepare a chicken breast.

Remember, anytime you fry or saute you're adding fat.

Fish is better (health wise) than chicken or beef.
It doesn't have saturated fat, it has healthy, high quality mono unsaturated and polyunsaturated
