As a breeder and keeper of CAG's the answer to your question is as follows the hens can be as young as 3-4 years of age however these may very well be clear. A male has to be around 4-5 years f age before he has the ability to produce sperm to fertilise the egg.
the clutches range in size form 2- 4 eggs and she wont start sitting them until the third egg is laid.
Please note if your African Grey is laying its essential that you help her replace her calcium levels in her body s these will have been affected by egg production try Calcivet it can be added to the water. Its what I use.

With all birds they start to lay eggs when they turn 3 months but its best to start them at 11 months of age, but love at first sight it very rare in birds so just beacuse the bird is 11 or 3 months old it will have eggs right away.

African Greys are old black men from the deepest forests in the Congo (now Zaire). They don't lay eggs. They just walk funny.
