Electronics is great. Putting all the pieces together to make something you want is a good feeling. It's like doing a puzzle, and you feel good about yourself doing it.

I hated every class I had to take that dealt with communications. The math is extremely abstract and I don't feel any accomplishment when I figure it out.

On another note, take a look at the power industry... everybody is about to retire from power, and nobody is graduating school with any interest in power!

electronics and communications is way much better. Being an Electronics and Communications Engineer myself, we got to study a much broader field which includes basic and advance electronics, microprocessors, communication subjects like RF, broadcasting, microwave, and computers and networking.

tons of subjects actually, which makes and electronics and communications engineer more diverse and adaptable to any field of technology.
