im in 8th grade, just wondering is it normal for me to talk to my bf about my period, i dont do it but i was just wondering if anyine else does

In 8th grade, why would you want to discuss it with him? What business is it of his?

No.... Thats very personal. Think of it like this. Would you want him talking about his Clamedia. I mean thats basically the same thing. Except one is natural for a girl to clean out her system while the other is an infection but its not something you discuss. Especially at a very young age.

It's normal, because you confide in him about anything. However you may (or may not) freak him out a bit. It really depends on his view and his understanding of the female specimen.
Living in a house full of girls (I have many female siblings), I've never had a problem with that kind of discussion. So, it depends how exposed he has been with the subject. Or perhaps he's just very understanding.

It's perfectly fine. Obviously you're comfortable enough to talk to him about it.
My girlfriend's 14 and I turned 16 two days ago, she talks to me about her period sometimes. She doesn't obsess over the fact that she's comfortable enough to talk to me about it.
I.e. she tells me "I'm getting my period soon, so sorry if I get a bit cranky." or she says "I have really bad cramps." she's not obsessed with talking to me about it, for example I don't know if she wears pads or tampons but occasionally she tells me when she's on it or if she's getting it soon or if she just got off it.
Nothing big.
We're just comfortable with each other.
There's nothing wrong with that.

NOT YET. some 6th grade boy dont even know about periods. wait until high school, when the boys become a little bit more mature.

Well personally i think its just strange and he probably doesn't want to hear it anyway but he listens to you anyway because for me i would be embarrassed and uncomfortable.....But if he doesn't mind you talking to him about it and you feel comfortable talking to him about that then i guess its fine.
