Jesus became a man and dwelt among us. So He could be tempted in the flesh the same as we are. But He never gave in to tempation.

Yes, but Jesus learnt to rely on his Father and overcame satan. satan has been defeted. Jesus quoted scripture to him and the devil left for a season. satan has no power over the world of God. The world of God is like a sword. Jesus loves his Father so much that Jesus learnt to rely on him. Jesus is gergous

i thought it was in a desert.. but i think yes, He did have free will when He was tempted by the devil. and He chose not to be tempted.

He was tempted everyday just like us but sinned not..

It is like asking what would have happened if Jesus had just decided not to be crucified and just forgave everybody instead.

Yes I think that was the point, it was his will which was being tested by temptation and it was his strength that came through. Perhaps a lesson for us all.
