Me and a kid were mucking round in his yard and i told him to put a apple on top of his head and i would shoot it off.
The arrow has penetrated his sholder entering from the frontal side of his body it went right through and got caught on the vanes of the arrow it only had a field point on it.
The bleeding has stopped and he isnt in much pain i applied a bit of antiseptic solution so it wouldnt get infected.
Will it need medical attention if we remove it or will it heal by itself. He doesnt want his mum and dad to fimd out.

it needs medical attention. if you just pull it out it might rip more of the skin or it might tear some tissues. go to the E R. if you don't go soon you might get an infection. (and no it won't heal on its own) and if you can pay the medical bill right then his mum and dad won't find out. hope he feels better.

There's always a prankster on every blog, isn't there. You
couldn't be any more obvious with the William Tell apple
thing. Time to think of something less obvious to ask people
that are supposedly more adult than yourself. And what are
you doing on a blog from the US? What's wrong with the one
from the UK? We don't have "mums" over here. Only "Moms".

DUDE!!!! He needs medical attention immediatly!!! He could have internal bleeding or risk an infection...DO NOT REMOVE THAT ARROW!!! GO TO THE HOSPITAL NOW!!

Take him to the emergency room immediately! If you pull it out and it is in a vein or artery, he will bleed to death very fast!
