Me and a kid were mucking round in his yard and i told him to put a apple on top of his head and i would shoot it off.
The arrow has penetrated his sholder entering from the frontal side of his body it went right through and got caught on the vanes of the arrow it only had a field point on it.
The bleeding has stopped and he isnt in much pain i applied a bit of antiseptic solution so it wouldnt get infected.
Will it need medical attention if we remove it or will it heal by itself. He doesnt want his mum and dad to fimd out.

You need to take him to the hospital, this is really serious and there is no way you should try and remove it yourself. He will need surgery and maybe even rehab afterwards - you don't know what sort of damage you could have done to the muscles.
I will save the "you are a ******* idiot" comments for the rest of the crowd !!!

There's always a prankster on every blog, isn't there. You couldn't be any more obvious with the William Tell apple thing. Time to think of something less obvious to ask people that are supposedly more adult than yourself. And what are you doing on a blog from the US? What's wrong with the one from the UK? We don't have "mums" over here. Only "Moms". Try to remember that when you post again. And hopefully on the UK blogs.

Well first off you missed the Apple.
Pull it out and clean up the wound. If the area around starts to turn red I'd seek medical attention.
You really need to practice some more before you play William tell.

Tell him to eat the apple.... just taking it once a day will keep the doctor away.....though it probably won't keep the infections away. Yeah, go to the ER, and accept the forthcoming spanking/ trauma.

Yes, it needs immediate medical attention. Take him to the Emergency ward in the nearest hospital. Don't fool around with this yourselves!

Of course you must go to the hospital.
Tell your parents it was a total accident--if you tell them about the apple you will not have a bow for long.
Tell them you were shooting and he didn't see you and walked in front of you.

Take him to the emergency room immediately! If you pull it out and it is in a vein or artery, he will bleed to death very fast!
