Depends on if they were tears of sadness or tears of joy.

Humans are emotional creature. After a breakup you cried, because you love that person and everything just come to an end.
No one knows if the breakup is a loss or the best.. is how individual think about the relationship and no one knows better than you do.

It is normal, and you should be honest with yourself at the same time. Is it just a break you want or do you want to end it? Take time to clarify, and if you need to talk to someone call a best mate. If you have a good relationship with your ex talk to them.
I would also tell you to be honest with your ex. I have just been dumped after 18 months of pure happiness and one month of hell. we are both very upset but it is because we failed at the relationship. But we are friends and tell each other everything. Honesty is the best policy even if it hurts them...

It hurts to lose a relationship, especially if it was a long term one. Regardless of the situation or who broke up with who, it generally still hurts. This is because you are losing a part of your life that has been there for so long. Whether it was a good relationship or a bad one does not always matter. It is the emptiness that you feel that makes you sad.

No you aren't wrong. You are just mourning the loss of someone who you cared about & now it's over. It's very difficult to maintain a relationship these days, especially one with long distance & for him to discuss how many other women want him, along with his ex, it was def. for YOUR best interest! Time heals all wounds & you will find someone who best suits you!

It's normal. You're feeling bad because you've now hurt that person, and you've prob got that little inclination that maybe it was wrong, but then again maybe for the better and it's very haunting at first. But if your first instinct was to dump him then you're okay, you'll be fine. It will take a little bit of time at first, but if you truly feel it's for the best then don't sweat it.

yeah it definately does not mean you were wrong to dump them. it means you still cared for them, either in a friend sense, or a more-than-friend- but cant be with you sense. its perfectly normal to feel that way after a break up. its up to you if it was for the best, but how much you cry isnt a factor

I broke up with my girl...I did not cry untill 2 weeks later. I remember how it was good to be with her...and I cried silently so that my family did not wake up in the middle of the night...
When you lose someone....you usuallu cry...water drops from eyes are symbolic element of loss...
