The wine provides some acidic balance so you need to use something acidic. Try diluted lemon juice or white wine vinegar.

Chicken broth with a pinch of apple cider vinegar gives a wonderful balance to a tomato based sauce.

Depending on what else is in the recipe, I'd use chicken, beef or vegetable broth or water.

Any liquid that you find agreeable. Water, stock, lemon juice, other fruit juice,vinegar, nonalcoholic wine,etc.
