on a scale of 1-10? 1 being very easy, and 10 being impossible!!!

yeah, I have a factory amp to run my 6x9's, will that make a difference? And wire colors would help me a great deal!!!

I'd say about a 2 if you want to install it in your trunk, or a 5 if you'd rather put it behind the factory radio. It needs to be connected to the speaker wires, so you can put it in either spot. The advantage to connecting behind the radio is that if you decide to install an after-market radio later, your RCA cables will already be in place. Also, if you're installing a 4-channel LOC, then you'll have to go behind the radio because the front speaker wiring isn't available in the trunk (unless you have a factory amplifier, which isn't uncommon).

Is not that difficult , in fact is very easy. After you have identified the speaker wires, it just splice and connect. I wouldn't put the converter in the back of the radio since there are many power wires that will cause induced noise like the engine whine due to the electromagnetic fields produce by the current flowing through the wires. the best place is in the trunk or in any other place in the car away from power wires.
I would say is about 2-3 depending of your options.
