Notice how the people who think that President Bush will attack Iran seem to believe this simply because they hate the President?

What is the matter with all you morons? Don't any of you pay attention to anything but CNN? Have none of you even bothered to learn _anything_ about the policies we have been following regarding Iran?

And people wonder why I regard the 'I hate Bush' people as a bunch of morons.

If he believes what he says, then yes. It will be an air war. It will be an attempt to prevent Israel from doing it themselves and starting WW3.

Look at the writing on the wall. Too much "intel" coming into the main stream media implicating Iran as being part of the problem with Iraq. The stage is being set. Multiple aircraft carrier groups in the region.

HEADLINE: N. Korea shuts down reactor.

Like N. Korea Iran speaks loudly because they have NO stick.
I am convinced that it is no mistake that US and NATO Forces are on 3 sides of Iran at this time. We had a right to attack Afghanistan, we had a long list of UN Sanctions using Diplomatic speak for Military Force (Serious Consequence) creating a clear path to the easy target of Sadam. Now the REAL trouble maker and Terrorist funding giant has us on 3 sides and Mr Putin offering to help with a missile defense to stop them.
As far as a nuclear weapon goes if they are twice as smart as N. Korea they might make a nuclear device equal to a small Tactical Device like the W33, minus plutonium. I am not convinced they get beyond an HE device.
They will back down. We know it, the Russians know it and China knows it and they know it too. But they will kick and scream all the way.

All out "war" would be out of the question, it would be guaranteed failure, and would have no way to follow through. Tactical attacks on key facitlities, is another issue.

No. GW only goes to war when it is profitable to the corporations that support him. Since Halliburton has Iranian connections, an Iranian war will neither be profitable nor effective in boosting any other corporations portfolio, so it would be a fiscally irresponsible move. Bottom line is what 21st century wars are based on. Educate yourself.
