I have taken 2 vicodin ES and 2 aleve Together. My pain is still bad. I have knee pain and an infected toe nail. I have been doing epsom salts for the toe and hot baths for the knee. I am waiting for my insurance to kick in the beginning of August. Is there anything else I can take. All I feel is loopy not pain free. I dont want to go right now because then it would be a preexisting condition. What else can I do?

I cant take antibiotics until I go to the doctor,

I had my meniscus removed back in September and had loose bodies removed but it is locking up and swelling again.

The skin on the side of the great toe is infected

And I do not have diabetes thank heavens.

5] Rest, alternate ice packs for knee, keep knee wrapped when up, and elevate both when not.
6] Pour some hydrogen peroxide on the toe, and soak in warm soapy water four times a day. Use antibiotic ointment and bandage in between soaks.
7] Take ibuprofen every six hours, alternating with Tylenol every six hours.
8] This is going to sound strange, but, put Vicks ointment on your knee - the menthol, etc., is soothing, and relieves the soreness.
