Does anyone have a recipe they have actually tried? There are many recipes online, but I'm looking for one that someone has actually made. Thanks!

I use the same batter that I use for onion rings. But when it ask for milk use butter milk instead. Also when you go to mix it don't mix it all the way just enough to combine everything a few clumps are ok this makes it have fluffy crust on the pickles.

Make a simple batter with flour, eggs, and milk the usual way. Dip dry dill pickles into batter and deep fry.

My friend uses pancake mix prepared according to directions but with Sprite for the liquid. I think it's terrible but a lot of others seem to like it.
