I was wondering if there are any places that want scenic photographers that photograph scenery or weather (like lightning) for postcards and whatever and that pays for the photos. Any suggestions?

Here are a couple of sites you can look at and you might want to get the "2007 Photographer's Market" handbook (amazon.com).

Here is a stock agency website. Read over the submission guidelines if your images meet what they are requiring then you can contact them.

If you want to sell your work on your own.

Hope this helps,

Nikonfotos gave you some good links. You might have better luck making your own postcards and selling them locally. Stock photography is a hard row to hoe. To make money you have to have literally thousands of images, or you have to have images that very few other photographers have.

Good luck!
