Wow! I never knew so many Athiests were into Swing.
I'm a Cab Calloway fan myself.
The Biblical Creation, Big Band and Big Bang theories all have a lot of holes in them, and "Intelligent Design" really breaks down when you look at Platypi and Republicans. They just don't seem like something any Intelligent being would design,.
We Agnostics have our own theory. We think, although we can never really be sure, that the Great Whoever or "The Holy Unknown Deity," T.H.U.D. for short, and mind you the jury is still out on the question of whether such an entity actually exists, was stoned off his gourd one day, or her gourd--and noticing the great significance of the crevices in popcorn--decided to Create the Universe. T.H.U.D. then wolfed down some 'shrooms and got down to work. That whole seven days thing is BS. Even demiurges lose track of time when the creative juices flow.
That would explain a lot of the inconsistencies in the more popular models. We call it the Big Bhang theory.

Some prefer Stan Kenton
Some like Cab Calloway
Others prefer Duke Ellington
A few like Lawrence Welk (don't ask why)
Some favor Red Nichols
Many of the modern ones like Les Brown and his Band of Renowned, probably because they grew up with Linda Rhonstadt.

Well they obviously dont believe a creator created the world, so some could possibly believe that everything ramdomly went bang and the earth was here

I prefer metal. But I do believe that Metal evolved from big bands, especially classical.
