Why so many talk of a peace where their is no War and no hate. I find it funny sometimes because those Who talk of such things are mostly the ones with the most hate and judgemental mind-set.

Once there were three.

There was an ancient book I read on the men of sovereignty and their confrontation with another sovereignty. They had three ways of living with the others-Peace, balance, or war. The fostering of children from sovereignty to sovereignty were their way of creating balance and sometimes understanding in the next generation. Balance and fostering have disappeared from our vocabularies.

The only way there can be peace is if every single person on earth finds inner peace. Until then those who hate will always find conflict. You are right though. The only way to overcome hatred is with love, even love for those who hate. Fight fire with water.

The concept of peace varies from person to person, culture to culture, and philosophy to philosophy. Many seem to think like the Sith from Star Wars, that peace is security and dominance over anyone who disagrees with your way.
