it will likely become a dominant flavor; humans will always have some diversity of opinion, though.

Religion evolves. I'm a Buddhist/Atheist in that I consider Buddhism more of a philosophy. I don't believe in any gods. I do agree with scientific theory and think things will be more pleasant when antediluvian concepts of sky fairies are replaced with reason and logic. The emotional frenzy hype that's been fed to society for centuries has perverted civilization into cults of thugs who perpetrate hate and intolerance. This has caused untold misery and deceit throughout history and these passions should be contained or eradicated with a planetary effort to stabilize and educate humanity rather than imprison people in fundamentalist cells of corruption and chaos.

Reason and logic are not enough, Mr. Spock.
And, by the way, mainstream religion does not deny the world of science, in fact it CONTRIBUTES to it. The many initial proofs of Evolution came from a Catholic Abbott. The Big Bang Theory came from a Cathoic Priest who was shunned by an atheist named Fred Hoyle, PH D who is now in total disrepute.

Religions arent guided by reason and logic, they're guided by outdated texts, so your whole question kinda implodes on itself
And yeah. Atheistic Liberalism is the superior "religion"

All i know is that without some basic form of spirituality or religion we would not be able to function as a society, or civilization. So wheather or not science can proove the existence of a god or not God is necesary for survival in the world.

In a way, yes. I think people will still use their religious symbolism because it has meaning to them though .
