At 39 years old, I can tell you from experience that I wish long ago I had stayed with the job I loved, the one that may not have paid as much financially but allowed me to feel great about what I was doing and I actually enjoyed getting up and going to work. The time I spent stressing over other jobs rather than spending quality memorable moments with family and friends is just not worth the difference is pay. You can't afford not to do what makes you happy and fullfilled.

If you truly want to be a success you need to have passion for what you do. The question is do you want to be just like 90% of the rest of the world and just earn a pay check or absolutely love what you do. I don't know what work you are talking about, but if you are loving what you are doing I think that is not only going to be the most rewarding 10 years from now. It will also be the most financially rewarding as well.

It depends. I believe the Artist in me is disgusted by the way the world treats money. On the other hand, my Brother, the big business man will put himself through hell to have more than the Jones's. Yah, he has some cool toys, but so do I. He has a beautiful wife, I am single...toss-up good marriage, love being single. Could my bro hold still enough for my life? I tried his for 30+ years. Whoooo, I barely survived, he'd go nuts in a week.Do you want a whole happy life, (I wish I could have started sooner), or hope to live long enough to retire and enjoy what you worked for. What about your significant other? Might want to think about that. If you marry into your current life, ya kinda stuck. But if you want my life, you may want to take a weekend or more to check it out. I get bored and lonely and frustrated, then I go swimming in the back and have whatever I want for dinner whenever I want it. No one to tell me what to do or make demands. My Brother hates to be alone. While you are making big bucks, save, save, save!!!!! Hope I've helped, best of Luck to you!

I would go with the one I liked best, but...it really depends on if you really need the money. Like do you have a family to support? Will your lower paying job still pay enough to get you by? I've learned the more you make the more you spend. Life is too short to be miserable. Make your choices wisely.

If this is a summer job then keep it....you can do this for 3 months. If it's a permanent job then I say follow your heart and be happy in the job you work at for 1/3 of your day, everyday.

Why can't you find a job that gives you everything, big bucks, the limelight and fulfillment?
If you must choose money or fulfillment, consider taking the money then finding a volunteer job for the evenings / weekend which provides fulfillment.

You have to decide which is more important to you, is the money more important and dealing with a lame job you dislike. Or is the lesser paying job where your fullfilled and content and happy more important.

stick with the new job for a little bit longer and see if you get used to it. If you continue to hate it, definitely quit and pursue the job that really makes you happy. Big life lesson there, do what makes you happy.

Only you can decide;-} the new job meets financial needs.
If you are doing well, you may get promoted to better work.
Changing jobs frequently, & taking lower pay, will look funny on your resume.
People may conclude you are not reliable or unbalanced.
