Should people passed the official retirement age step aside for a younger person ?

a lot of people in the use their brain jobs like doctors teachers analyst research etc are still capable of doing their job well and they are experienced too. only those who are in the use their muscles like road construction workers carpenters warehouse or cargo loaders are slowing down due to age.yet they deserve to decide for themselve whether they want to continue working or retire. some people do so bec they need the money.

Yes. But this is a tough question because some have run up such a high cost of living for themselves that they are not able to step aside. They have bought expensive homes and vehicles on credit at the ages of 59 and therefore are slaves to the office. Most of them are in dire need of financial counseling at a younger age but you know they think they knew it all.

No Way, the younger ones will just have to wait their turns, just like the older ones did! They NEED a Job too! Why should someone have to lose their job, for your advancement? Who do you think you are? Besides they know 100 times more about that job than you do, and are much more competent. Watch, listen and learn from them!

no. they have a lifetime of experience, and unless they find another fulfilling activity, many retirees die soon after retirement.

Finnland has the right idea, letting seniors step into a partial-retirement, still participating, working part-time and sharing their experience.

No. People should work for as long as they want. Otherwise it is age discrimination.
