well, in counting i've had five dreams that did came true and the most shocking one is about a mutual friend..i had that dream four years before it happened..i had it a year before i left my country to move here in us..and then it came to pass 3 yrs. after..so i have no way of knowing how things are with her plus she's not really a close friend of mine..well the dream was i was standing at an intersection and i see somebody on the stretcher being taken to an ambulance then the face of one of my friend's closests friend showed up out of nowhere..then everything went black and then i clearly remember seeing a smudge of blood. at first i don't know what to make out of that dream, then i found out through other friends that my friend died of a lung condition and everybody was shocked of her suddenly getting that serious condition because she showed no signs of it..ever since then i started taking my dreams more seriously

This is a tough question. The term psychic tends to be a real contraversial topic. I tend to have the same thing happen to me as well. Some are very vivid depictions, while others come in the form of deja vu. Alot of belief structures can add strength to the psychic theory. Pre destination for example. Theoretically if life is mapped out already, a dream could be able to show you the path ahead. This could lead to the deja vu experience.

Although dreams and psychic predictions have no concrete evidence as of yet for the cause and origin, it altogether doesnt mean that they arent true. Before there was mass communication for example, there have been documented cases where a loved one could sense someone hurt miles and miles away. Communication and technology has lowered our natural instinct and need to rely on this.

But if you do receive dreams like this again, take the chance to reach out to that person. Dreams can come as signs in your life, that a change could be needed. Good luck!!!

No, there's nothing psychic about that. There are major differences between the dream and what actually happened - for one thing, if your friend died of a lung condition, odds are he/she didn't even go to the hospital in an ambulance. The person on the stretcher wasn't even necessarily the friend who died. There's a huge range of possible events that would let you count this dream as a "hit", or accurate prediction: for example, you'd count it as a "hit" if any of your friend's family or acquaintances had been in a car crash. If you give yourselves years of lag time, it's a virtual certainty that some event would come up that you could count as a "hit".

Out of the hundreds or thousands of dreams that you've had, it's inevitable that a few would be "hits" even if only by coincidence - especially since the range of possible events that would count as "hits" is so wide. The occasional dream may seem remarkable to you, but there's really nothing psychic there. After all, how many dreams have not come true?

thats a tough one, basically because the details are sketchy, but i do belive there are a such thing as phsyics, if the brain can control 10,000 nerve endings, thne why should'nt it be able to fore sight events,

i had a dream on 9/10/2001 that i was standing on the building across from the world trade center watching it fall, both towers, falling in perfect symetery and i turned towards a clock and it said 9:11, then i woke up(10:47 pm), and went to write it down in my journal, the next morning i woke up and warned somebody close to me not to take a flight 2 new york that morning (thank god they didnt), and that same morning the towers collapsed.

here is how i think that type of dream happens

your brain senses immediate danger, even though you cannot

I've been told that clairvoyance runs in the females on my mother's side of the family. I have had numerous dreams that have come true. I only beleive those that occur to other people and not myself because subconsciously you can influence your actions to "make" a dream come true. I have had sprits (for lack of a better term) come to me in my sleep. For ex. my uncle came to me telling me that my father was going to get sick about a month before he was actually diagnosed. When i told my aunt about the dream there were identifying features that I never would have known about. i try not to think about these things too much. Do I think i am psychic? Not really. Dreams are a result of our subconscious so take them with a grain of salt and just let your life pan out however its going to go :D

Yes.
In fact, everyone is "psychic" or some would prefer "intuitive" or "creative". Most are unaware of their "sixth sense", and go through life like zombies controlled by the rules of society set up to condition the way we think and feel. If we simply let our own selves guide us, we should have the experiences that we are where we should be and where we are is where we want to be, whether we are conscious of it or not.

If we pay attention to our dreams, and record them in our minds or in a journal, we will start to see the "coincidences" pop up.
Of course, most of our dreams are simply our subconscious mind rolling a movie tape for us filled with symbols/meaning unique to the individual.
If we feel like it, we can analyze them to improve our understanding of our selves. Or we might even try lucid dreaming, being conscious in REM. Some of us have already had lucid dreams without any knowledge of this phenomenon.

I'm sure you understand your dreams better than any of us.

Someone is going to die no matter what happens, so even if didn't have that dream, you can always know that someone you know is going to die. And since that dream wasn't right before your friend died, It's not really a "psychic" dream. Thus, you are NOT a psychic.

If you have dreams more than twice that come true does not mean your psychic. All I can say is maybe your having the dreams for a reason. Maybe to help solve a problem that can't be solved by the contiguous mind.

it means that you will probadly develop psychic abilities as you get older. my dreams use to come true and as I got older I was able to read the past, present and future. I have no idea why this happened. some people are freaked out, and some thinks its cool.

I am not reading the details, just the question, to answer it without bias.

There is a difference between "intuitive" and "psychic." Psychic is not possible. You are intuitive. You notice more things in life than you are aware of consciously and you make more connections mentally than you realize.

It is discernment. It is a gift from God, sometimes it feels like a curse, but it is the downside for me of my gift. the upside, I understand babies and toddlers, its so great, and I know what is in peoples bellies before they do.
