Everyone has their own opinion about the raw food diet. I, myself, don't feed my dogs raw meat or eggs but have friends that do. If a dog were living on it's own means, raw meat and most definitely eggs would be on that diet. Some dog distributors are taking this new trend into account, and are even selling "raw food" in a can. I think your dog will be alright, but I would do it in moderation. Always consult your vet, and take their opinion into account.

Unlike the effects eggs can have on humans, with their high cholesterol content, they're very good for dogs. Raw or cooked.

They give a dog a shinier coat, and also help in their digestion.

Not if you live on a farm and raise poultry! We always cook them before we feed them to the dogs. Your dog could start going after bird eggs, etc. Also, eggs can contain organisms that can cause illness. I don't remember what it's called, but restaurants warn patrons about ordering eggs easy cooked.

You should give your dog a variety of different raw foods everyday. Try and stay away from any and all processed dog foods. In nature, a wolf eats a variety of different foods each day. (bunny, deer, bones, etc.) Go to Skansen Kennel on the internet for her philosophy on feeding your dog.

I feed a whole, raw egg to my dog almost every morning. She eats it, shell and all.

When I was cooking for my dogs, my vet recommended I lightly scramble the egg so it was still runny but just starting to congeal, since when dogs scavenge eggs they tend to be slightly rotten, which not to be gross, are starting to kinda cook in the shell, it helps them disgest it better... and they're less likely to gak it up.

Yes, it's okay. Be sure to gradually introduce it though. Dogs have the bacteria that humans lack that is able to break down and fight salmonella, if you happen to feed him an egg that is infected with salmonella.
